As a Warehouse / Delivery Driver, you earn a competitive, entry-level wage of $17-$22/hour , based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE / DELIVERY DRIVER
In this position, you spend most of your time tracking inventory, receiving materials, verifying accuracy, loading equipment, organizing the warehouse, and preparing job materials to support our HVAC service & installation processes. You also play an important role in our organization and act as a hub in between the office and our technicians to keep workflow moving. As an inquisitive person, you truly seek to grasp the trade and model the mission and values of Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling. With your teachable spirit, you enjoy receiving direct instruction and training on everything you need to know.
As a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you, you pay close attention to what you're being taught. As you work, you enjoy interacting with customers and our Service Technicians. You love that each workday brings a new change of scenery, and you are excited to advance in your career as you continue to increase your skillset.
QUALIFICATIONS
Forklift certification or experience is a plus , but no experience is necessary. We will train the right person! Do you have good communication skills? Are you friendly and service-oriented? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Are you detail-oriented? Are you honest and respectful of others and their property? If so, you may be perfect for this Warehouse / Delivery Driver position!
WORK SCHEDULE
In this position, you can expect to work a typical Monday-Friday work week , with hours ranging from 7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm .
