Position Summary: The Translation Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all translation and transcription projects. This role requires fluency in Spanish and a deep understanding of translation and proofreading processes. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as a translator and possess excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all translation and transcription projects from initiation to completion.
  
• Provide translation and proofreading support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored language solutions.
  
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  
• Assign tasks to translators and proofreaders and monitor their progress.
  
• Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  
• Provide ongoing oversight and support to the translation and transcription team.
  

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken).
  
• Several years of experience as a translator.
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  
• Proficiency in translation software and tools.
  
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
