Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Munster, IN . This is a unique opportunity to provide speech and language services to students in a virtual setting while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and therapists.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.
  • Provide speech therapy sessions to students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.
  • Monitor and document student progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to IEP goal development.
  • Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other team members.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Indiana state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
  • ASHA certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in special education.
