School Social Worker

Part & Full-Time | Baltimore, MD

We are currently seeking a full-time  MD Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Master Social Workers or Graduate Professional Counselor  to work in Baltimore County non-public K-8 schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Hourly rate ranges from $35-37/hr.

Areas of focus are counseling, guidance, and consultation. Counseling may focus on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental issues to promote enhanced school functioning. Consult with parents, classroom teachers, school principal and other school personnel to maximize effectiveness of services, as appropriate.

Catapult Learning provides staff with regularly scheduled supervision and continued support throughout the school year.

Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. How you’ll do it:

• Works with both school personnel and parents to develop specific interventions on behalf of students
• Interprets assessments/results and generates reports for feedback to parents and school personnel.
• Advises teachers and other school personnel on methods to enhance students abilities.
• Works as a referral agent linking students and families when appropriate with "outside" agencies to service their needs.
• Supports students with academic and emotional needs that interfere with academic success
• Other duties may be assigned.

What we’ll need from you:

• Maryland LCSW, LMSW, or LGPC (Supervision for LGPCs is available)
• At least two years experience in field preferred.
• Knowledge of testing and evaluation techniques and competent in assessment procedures and interpretation of the results.
• Proficient in Virtual platforms, ex: Zoom, MS Office 365, etc.
