Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a QA Tester to join one of their largest financial clients in NYC. The candidate will be joining the team responsible for end of day calculations. They need to be able to understand functionality through user stories and acceptance criteria. They will also contribute to QA deployment on an as needed bases. This candidate will need to have at least 5 years of experience as a software tester.

Required Skills & Experience

o 5+ years of Proven experience as a Software Tester.
o Strong grasp of testing concepts and strategies, including the defect life cycle.
o Proficiency in SQL for data management and issue debugging.
o Basic knowledge of Linux for issue troubleshooting and debugging.
o Expertise in Java programming language for automation testing.
o Ability to write, execute, and debug automation scripts in Java.
o Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman is a plus.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
