We are in search of a Network Security Administrator to join our team in the transport industry, based in Chandler, Arizona. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Network Security Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network security systems and protocols.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and monitor the security of network systems and infrastructure.
• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco ASA Firewall, and Cisco Routers to ensure secure network operations.
• Implement and manage Check Point and Checkpoint Firewall as part of the security measures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and datacenter operations.
• Conduct configuration management to ensure system security and consistency.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and identify potential threats.
• Implement security improvements by assessing current situations and predicting future trends.
• Respond to network security breaches and provide incident response.
• Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to identify, innovate, and implement new technologies.• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Experience with Checkpoint and Checkpoint Firewall
• Familiarity with Cisco ASA and Cisco ASA Firewall
• Knowledge of Cisco Routers
• Expertise in Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Ability to work in a Datacenter environment
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions based on analysis
• Knowledge of current industry security standards and procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
