Job Description
May include:
•Support & participate in new dealer acquisition events (Trade Shows, Dealer Meetings & Events, Strategic Alliance Group events)
•Collaborate with independent distribution and COD Sales Leadership to identify both training and vendor needs and work with vendors and trainers to deliver these solutions
•Manage third party and internal presenters for training events
•Maintain our library of training content in prewrite and ensure that it is in line with the business units current needs
•Collaborate with instructional design, graphics department, and third party vendors to create Workbooks, PowerPoints, handouts, and additional training materials
•Perform webinars, podcasts and live trainings as needed
•Maintain and develop knowledge of business trends in order to train others
•Facilitate and deliver training for TSM Academy COD Onboarding, 101, 201, 301, and 401
•Manage third-party independent trainers; review contracts and submit to legal department and present to the National Sales Training Manager and the Sr. Director of Customer Experience for approval
•Setup and manage booths at industry events
•Collect ongoing feedback from participants and hosts to identify effectiveness of training and report findings to leadership
•Manage training costs ensuring spend doesn't exceed approved budget and identify ways to minimize cost
•Collaborate with leadership to implement improvements and enhancements for the training programs
•Participate in additional projects/activities to support ongoing business needs
•Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control training programs
•Determine cost recovery activities to maintain training budget
•Review training records to determine training effectiveness and forecast future training demand
•Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
•Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills:
•HVAC industry and product knowledge a strong asset
•Excellent public speaking skills and delivery of presentations to engage and capture the attention of others
•Ability to effectively negotiate agreements with vendors and other related parties
•Ability to comprehend detailed knowledge of Company products and services, customers, decision makers, sales process, and market trends
•Strong working knowledge of MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel proficiency
•Ability to learn LMS, Prewrite, and various registration software's (C-Vent)
•Familiarity with setting up audio/visual equipment
•Knowledge of vendor management and contracts; budgeting and cost management
•Excellent leadership skills
•Extensive knowledge of P&L statements
•Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, business plans and strategies
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
•Ability to effectively manage multiple projects including adjusting to changing priorities while meeting deadlines and achieving the desired results
•Ability to keep calm under high pressure situations
•Ability to be flexible with work hours as training may be held outside of typical business hours and weekends

•Frame professional activities through an organized and detailed time management system
•Demonstrate discernment and sound judgement, applies strong work ethic and integrity on the job
Experience:
•10 years sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry
•5 years in a supervisory/manager role of a sales team
Education/Certification:
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or business administration, or equivalent experience
•Education and/or experience with HVAC products

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
•Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
•Travel required - up to 50%.
•Lift and carry up to 50lbs. Set up and breakdown of tradeshow booths and displays
