The
Web Developer designs, develops, and maintains internal and external websites. Uses knowledge of common web development languages to build and expand site functionality. Enhances overall website appearance using graphic/multi-media design software and designs site navigation that is clear and easy to understand. Ensures sites remain scalable while complying with performance and security standards to support e-commerce initiatives and provide support to digital marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain website content across all business group websites. This includes all web page types on both Ecommerce and non-Ecommerce websites.
- Work cross functionally with Marketing Director, Web Team, and Product Managers to ensure timely launches of new products and product categories on Ecommerce Websites. Project manage, as well as develop and maintain marketing content calendar to support merchandising plans, customer engagement and company growth initiatives.
- Assist in development and testing of website improvements as part of regular website maintenance and enhancements.
- Provide support to the digital marketing and email programs.
- Other Duties as assigned
Minimal Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Web Design & Development, Digital Marketing, or equivalent
- Experience in HTML5, CSS, responsive web design, text editors, code management, cross-browser and device troubleshooting
- 2 years' experience developing pages and content within Ecommerce Commerce Management Systems
- Experience with Adobe Suite or equivalent design software
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Javascript, XML
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps,
- Agile development methodology experience
- Familiarity with Ecommerce platform, specifically Hybirs, including facets, SOLR, promotions
- Experience developing html-based email in Salesforce or equivalent
- Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to work independently and consistently hit deadline dates for content builds/development
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, code management
- Ability to develop within and outside of web CMS
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
- Analytical skills including the ability to work with spreadsheets and databases
Level of Independence: Acts independently under the direction of Marketing leadership.
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
