immediate opening available for a Full Time Painter/Make Ready at Four Winds Apartments with 404 unit apartment complex.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Support the maintenance staff by assisting in the preparation of vacant units
• Maintain cleanliness of pool
• Maintain both interior and exterior grounds of the property to company standards
• Maintain community appearance by regularly inspecting and touring the property.
• Report any concerns or hazardous conditions immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Gather and remove litter, trash and other items that do not belong on property
• Work with maintenance team, contractors, vendors and other affiliates in preparation of units and grounds
• Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of the buildings, grounds, swimming pools and other areas as required
• Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that property operates in an efficient and economic manner

Painter

• Check walls, patch and/or repair as necessary
• Check condition of wallpaper, repair and/or replace when necessary.
• Maintain written status board and use provided check list.
• Paints all assigned surfaces per project scope, as assigned by Director of Capital Projects/Property Manager, using drop cloths to protect company and personal property.
• Performs all repairs related to interior walls and doors (i.e., patch sheet rock, tape and float, shoot acoustics, apply texture, sand re-varnish doors).
• Paints and touches up common areas as needed or scheduled by supervisor.
• Maintains adequate stock of materials, notifying supervisor when to reorder in a timely manner.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good safe working order.
• Incorporates both safety and customer service in the performance of all job duties.
• Maintains consistent and punctual attendance record.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

WHAT WE NEED:

• 1+ years of experience as a porter, groundskeeper, maintenance technician, Painter or related position
• Paint sprayer and/or maintenance experience required
• Apartment Make Ready experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong work ethic
• Customer Service skills

Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test

COMPENSATION:

• $17.00 to 19.00/hr. depending on experience
