Inventory Analyst Qualifications:
* Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, leverage statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
* Prepare all relevant materials to support and facilitate inventory planning analysis
* Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working cross departmental to understand all relevant and qualitative inputs into the forecast
* Investigate cross-functional discrepancies to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated assumptions
* Develop and submit demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation and time horizons to drive the supply plan
* Provide input in developing inventory buying strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
* Closely coordinate and communicate action plans with inventory planning
* Maintain demand planning data and models, ensuring data cleanliness and monitoring forecast error
* Generate complex automated reporting and forecasting models to track sales trends
