Summary:
Provides care for individuals with Cardiac and Pulmonary conditions and/or other diagnosis as it relates to reconditioning and exercise management. Promotes healthy living lifestyle for patients, staff, and community of hospital. The Exercise Specialist will collaborate with other healthcare providers for individual’s continuum of care.

Bachelors or Masters in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science is required.
At least one year experience in coordinating programs of adults fitness and/or cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation.
Licensure/Certification
American College of Sports medicine certified Exercise Specialist is preferred.
BLS required within 30 days of hire is required
ACLS required within 60 days of hire is required
