Job Description

Today’s aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall. JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel. This is why we’re hiring a Digital Asset Manager. You will manage all shared JetZero assets including Slides, Illustrations, Photos, 3D models, Videos, Animation, and PDFs, and develop tools, policies, and procedures to streamline their production, storage, quality control, and access. What You'll Do Organize classify and tag digital assets for storage – You have a knack for creating simple and memorable labels and hierarchies that enable people to easily find what they are looking for. Produce variants of existing assets – You will open and alter files (e.g., cropping, re-coloring, trimming video, etc.). Provide direction to designers and engineers across the organization – Document how files should be structured and formatted, where they should be saved and required descriptions and naming conventions. Develop processes and workflows for digital asset delivery – You are expert in 2D, 3D, and Motion design software as well as Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and automated workflows. You will develop streamlined processes for passing ‘building-block’ assets between the Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams. Field requests for specific assets. – When shared assets are not easily discoverable you will guide team members to the asset that's needed. You will document those efforts as part of a feedback loop for improvements to DAM search. Select and configure a digital asset management system – Working with other stakeholders you will lead the procurement process. Once a system is in place you will migrate all digital assets into the system and develop documentation for team members. Police brand, quality, compliance standards and access control – You will be our first line of defense ensuring that all assets accurately represent our product in it’s current state, adhere to our brand standards, comply with legal requirements for labeling and are accessible only by authorized people in the organization.
