Growing global chemical manufacturer is looking for an AP Lead for their corporate headquarters in Northbrook. This position is responsible for the AP input and processing purchase order related invoices or cost invoices in accordance to agreed terms. You would be responsible for data entry of invoices, monitoring of invoice discrepancies and guiding purchasing associates in the research and resolution process. Troubleshooting process and system issues as they arise along with reinforcing internal controls. You would also be assisting with month end balancing and reconciliation of AP balance sheet accounts. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and works on a small team. This position is long-term assignment(1+ year) with potential for conversion in future.

* Associates degree or higher in Accounting preferred
* SAP Experience a must
* 2+ years of leadership experience within an AP department
* Experience in Manufacturing and/or Distribution environment
* Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills preferred
* Account Receivables experience a plus
* Experience with ADP Payroll a plus
